Notable: Sousa was the third in the country as a senior with 1,664 yards receiving and 23 touchdowns. For the second straight year Sousa led the state of Florida in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. Sousa was chose to play in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl as a senior. Sousa was originally committed to Florida State before flipping to Florida in November.

While coaching, he was a part of two state semifinal teams in the state of Alabama. Given his past coaching experience, he figured covering recruiting would be a perfect fit.
