Road trip: week 8

Gator Country Road Trip takes a look at which prospects visited the campuses of SEC schools and those of some of Florida’s biggest rivals the past week.

Week eight brought a lot of good games around the SEC and around the country so visiting prospects were able to see a rash of upsets.

In Tuscaloosa, where Alabama crushed visiting Arkansas, 2015 commit Ricky Town was in town along with top 2015 corner target Kendall Sheffield.

In Oxford, where Ole Miss upset LSU in front of a sold out crowd, Florida linebacker target Clifton Garrett was on an official visit. Terrance Alexander was also in town.

The upset bug also struck Knoxville where Tennessee stunned South Carolina at Neyland. JUCO offensive lineman Avery Gennessy was the main target at that game.

In College Station, where  Texas A&M was upset by Auburn, defensive end Myles Garrett, who recently committed to the Aggies, was in town to visit with his future coaching staff.
