Recruits react to Florida Gators tough loss

The Florida Gators suffered a terrible loss on Saturday afternoon in Knoxville, Tennessee against Tennessee.

This was a game that was on national T.V. and prospects around the country were able to watch the Gators and Vols.

GatorCountry asked prospects around the country that are either committed to Florida or interested in the Gators to give their thoughts on the game.

Here’s the Florida Gators recruiting reaction.

Receiver commit Daquon Green-“It was a good fight, some things they need to fix but we’re going to be fine. We can’t let one loss slow us down.

Tight end commit Zech Byrd-“We played a good game but I’m made the 11-year streak is over. I wanted to keep it going.”

Defensive back commit Marco Wilson-“I think they came out strong and played a great first half. I just they’ve would kept the same game plan for the second half.”

Linebacker Rahyme Johnson-“I loved what I saw in the first half but they took their foot off the pedal and gave them life.”

Auburn athlete commit Tray Bishop-“Tough loss. The defense was legit first half . They were supposed to win but Tennessee scored 28 unanswered points.

2018 safety Trey Dean-“I thought that we didn’t play well at all. It was a bad loss but we will be back next week. Go Gators.”

2018 Florida State commit Justin Watkins-“Disappointed in the second half play calling. The season isn’t over for them but credit Tennessee and their coaching staff.”

2018 running back Ricky Slade-“I thought they played well but they didn’t want it the most. Tennessee wanted it the most.”

2018 athlete Amari Burney-“I think they Gators started off great but in the second half they just couldn’t keep up the intensity. I don’t know if the crowd had anything to do with it but they just got content with the lead.”
