Week five is here as high school football is alive and well across the country this week.

Running every Thursday, Gator Country will post the game schedule for each of Florida’s verbal commits so you can keep a closer eye on the future of Florida football.

On Mondays, be sure to catch our Recruiting Rewind, where we recap each prospect’s performance and announce a Recruit of the Week award for the weekend’s most outstanding performance.

Recruits game schedule for September 20th, 2013:

Philadelphia (Pa.) Martin Luther King offensive lineman Dontae Angus

Opponent: MLK will play host to Dobbins as they look to pick up their second win of the season.

Casper (WY.) Natrona County defensive end Taven Bryan

Opponent: The number five ranked team in the state of Wyoming is Natrona County and they play host to Campbell County. Natrona County is 2-1 on the year.

Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade Madonna defensive tackle Khairi Clark

Opponent: Chaminade Madonna looks to pick up their first win of the year as they play host to American Heritage.

Miami (Fla.) Central running back Dalvin Cook

Opponent: #8 Miami Central will travel to play nationally ranked Don Bosco Prep on Saturday evening in New Jersey.

Cross City (Fla.) Dixie County cornerback Duke Dawson

Opponent: Dixie County will travel to Williston as they look to go to 4-0 on the year.

Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines offensive lineman Travaris Dorsey

Opponent: Raines will host Bolles as the Vikings look to go 3-1 on the year behind Florida commit Travaris Dorsey.

Davidson (N.C.) Day quarterback Will Grier

Opponent: The 4-0 Davidson Day team will host Community School of Davidson.

Immokalee (Fla.) High cornerback J.C. Jackson

Opponent: Immokalee picked up their first win of the season and will travel to play Barron Collier on Friday.

Mount Pleasant (S.C.) Wando offensive lineman Nolan Kelleher

Opponent: Wando enters their game against Summerville with a 2-2 record but 2-0 at home.

Plantation (Fla.) High cornerback Chris Lammons

Opponent: Plantation will put their 2-1 record on the line against Nova on Friday.

Homestead (Fla.) High receiver Ermon Lane

Opponent: Homestead is coming off of a bye week and will host Norland on Friday.

Tuscaloosa (Al.) Kingwood Christian tight end C’yontai Lewis

Opponent: Kingwood will host East Memorial as they enter the matchup with a 3-1 record on the year.

Clearwater (Fla.) Central Catholic defensive end Justus Reed

Opponent: Central Catholic will travel to take on Shorecrest Prep this week.

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University cornerback Quincy Wilson

Opponent: University school is 4-0 on the season and will play host to Somerset Academy this week.

Andrew always knew he wanted to be involved with sports in some capacity. He began by coaching high school football for six years before deciding to pursue a career in journalism. While coaching, he was a part of two state semifinal teams in the state of Alabama. Given his past coaching experience, he figured covering recruiting would be a perfect fit. He began his career as an intern for Rivals.com, covering University of Florida football recruiting. After interning with Rivals for six months, he joined the Gator Country family as a recruiting analyst.
