Florida landed their second prospect of the day and the first commitment for the Class of 2015 on Friday.

2015 Miami (Fla.) Central receiver Da’Vante Phillips committed to Florida while visiting Gainesville for Friday Night Lights.

The 6-foot-1, 189-pound Phillips is teammates with 2014 Florida running back commitment Dalvin Cook at Miami Central.

“It’s a dream come true to play with Dalvin Cook,” Phillips told Gator Country Friday night.

As a sophomore, Phillips had 28 catches for 471 yards and five touchdowns, giving him 12 touchdowns in just two years of high school football.
