Opening Preview: Team LandSharks

The Nike Opening is an event that features the nation’s top 162 elite prospects participating in linemen, 7-on-7 and SPARQ testing competitions.

This year the event will start on Monday, July 1st and run through Wednesday, July 3rd in Beaverton, Ore. – home to Nike’s headquarters.

The 162 players are divided into six teams that will participate in the 7 on 7 tournament as well as the lineman challenges.

Over the next two days GatorCountry.com will continue to preview each one of the teams and talk about Florida’s targets and commitments on each roster.

With two days left, the next team that GatorCountry.com is going to take a look at is team #Landsharks, a team with several Gator targets on their team as well as one Florida commitment.

Plantation (Fla.) High cornerback Chris Lammons

Those six Gator targets will hear about Florida from UF running back commitment, Miami (Fla.) Central running back Dalvin Cook.
