Nike has been rolling its camps around the country since early March, building up to their grand finale, The Opening, in Beaverton, Oregon on July 7th at the Nike Headquarters.

The elite-of-the-elite prospects from the Class of 2015 and a handful of 2016 prospects will participate in the Sparq Challenge as well as be divided into teams to participate in the 7-on-7 challenge as well as the linemen challenge.

Among the prospects attending the events are a number of Florida targets as well as three Gator commits.

In the days moving forward, Gator Country will break down each team and give you a preview of who to watch on that team as we prepare for the Opening.

Each team will draft three quarterbacks once they are in Oregon to go along with the players already designated to their team.

On Tuesday we previewed team Alpha Pro and now we will take a look at team Apocalypse.

While Apocalypse doesn’t have a Florida commit on its team, it still has a number of Florida targets playing for them.

At running back two of Florida’s top targets are this team and they are Damien Harris — who is likely to stay close to his Kentucky home — and Jacques Patrick, who has Florida State on top in his recruitment.

Playing receiver for Apocalypse will be in-state receiver Calvin Ridley who is committed to Alabama but Florida has interest in him.

Louisiana cornerback Xavier Lewis will man the backfield for Apocalypse and he’s a Florida target but a longshot at best as he’s likely to commit to LSU while in Oregon.

Participating in the linemen challenge for team Apocalypse will be Florida offensive line target Matthew Burrell who will visit Florida in late July and on the defensive line Florida target Rasheem Green from California.
