Join us Signing Day at Gator’s Dockside!

It’s one of the most anticipated days of college football — National Signing Day — and Gator Country TV will bring it to you live from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on location from Gator’s Dockside in Gainesville.

If you are feeling hungry for some food and some recruiting news, it’s where you will want to be on Wednesday. Gator’s Dockside will be featuring fresh, hand-battered Gator tail and $2.49 domestic pints all day. It is located at 3842 Newberry Road, Suite 1, in Gainesville (352-338-4445), just west of the Regal Royal Park Stadium 16 Movie Theaters and behind BallyHoo’s Restaurant.

You won’t want to miss the chance of learning about national champion Florida’s Class of 2009 football recruits as they officially sign their national letters of intent. We will have the up-to-the-minute signings as they occur plus clue you in on how Florida’s rivals in the Southeastern Conference and around the nation are also faring.

Gator Country’s own recruiting rising star, coordinator Justin Wells, will be joined by our long-time experts on the Gators—Buddy Martin, Franz Beard, Mark McLeod and Brady Ackerman—and the Gator Country Recruitniks to give you knowledge how this class will mesh with the other players returning from Florida’s national championship season. When they aren’t gathering the news, they will mingle among the attendees. All we ask, of course, is that you don’t feed them.

Video of the recruits will be aired and the entire show will be played with audio on the main huge projector screen at Gator’s Dockside. Other televisions around the popular eatery—where the ribs, seafood, steaks, hamburgers and appetizers are No. 1 like the Gators—will be turned to ESPNU for all of the day’s breaking signing news around the nation. All news and video will be reported on GatorCountry.com as it happens, and our staff will provide their usual insightful commentary via the TV show, on message boards and in the chat room.

Gator Country will post the signings as they happen and the chat room will be sharing that information from 8 a.m. throughout the day with Wells, the Recruitniks, Beard and Martin participating. Then at 9 p.m. Wednesday night, GCTV and the Gator Country crew will wrap up the day with more information and analysis. All of the shows with be archived on GCTV and can be watched anytime with our on-demand feature.
