“Here I come,” says Angus

The Gators picked up their 11th commitment of the 2014 class on Wednesday night, as Philadelphia (Pa.) Germantown defensive tackle Dontae Angus committed to Florida.

The 6-foot-6, 330-pound Angus was scheduled to visit Florida for Friday Night Light but will not be able to attend now, which lead to the early commitment.

“Florida is the college that I always wanted to go to,” Angus said. “I wanted to visit this weekend but I can’t, so I decided to go ahead and do it today.”

When the Philadelphia native called Florida, he received a nice welcome by the head man himself.

“Coach (Will) Muschamp said welcome to the Florida family,” Angus said. “Coach said that I will fit right in at defensive tackle at Florida. I’m excited to be a Gator commitment.”

Angus will now officially visit Florida in December for an official visit but he has a message for Florida fans.

“GO Gators and here I come,” Angus said.
