Goolsby makes number 15 for Florida

On homecoming weekend the Florida Gators received great news to start the festivities as tight end DeAndre Goolsby (6-4, 225, Derby, KS) committed to the Gators giving Florida their 15th verbal commitment in the Class of 2014.

With the exception of quarterback Will Grier’s commitment, Goolsby’s commitment could be the biggest commitment to date in the class simply due to the fact that Florida lacks playmakers at the tight end position.

Goolsby who is an early enrollee joins C’yontai Lewis as a tight end in this class and he’s the eighth offensive player to commit to Florida.

In what was one of the quietest recruitment’s to date Goolsby choose Florida over Arkansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma and Ohio State among others.

Stay tuned to Gator Country as we will have much more on Goolsby’s commitment to Florida.
