With the 2012 Under Armour and Army All- American games behind us, the recruiting picture is coming into clearer focus. We’ve got a firm grasp on who the top recruits in the country are, so we’ve updated our GatorCountry.com composite rankings.
Today we unveil Part III of our 385-man ranking. We show you the recruits who ranked from 251-385 in the nation in the country’s four biggest recruiting services.
Thursday we will unveil the prospects ranked 101-250 (Part II), and on Friday we’ll unveil the official GatorCountry.com Composite 100 (Part I).
Of the 185 prospects in this chunk of our composite rankings, the Florida Gators had four commits. Safety Rhaheim Ledbetter checked in at No. 278, linebacker Antonio Morrison checked in at No. 320, defensive lineman Quinteze Williams checked in at No. 328, and wide receiver Latroy Pittman checked in at No. 335.
Florida was one of 22 schools with at least three verbal commitments in Part III of the GatorCountry.com composite rankings. Five schools (two from the Southeastern Conference) had five commitments in this group, while six schools (none SEC) had four commitments in this range.
Eleven schools had three commitments in Part III, including two SEC schools other than Florida.
Only 16 of the 135 prospects in Part III of the GatorCountry.com composite rankings are currently uncommitted. The 119 pledged prospects were committed to 52 different schools, including every SEC school but Alabama and Kentucky.
Nine prospects in this chunk of the GatorCountry.com composite rankings were from the state of Florida. All of them are currently committed. No school had more than one commitment from the state of Florida in this range of the composite ranking.
Florida and Florida State both had one commitment from the state of Florida ranked in Part III of the composite rankings, while LSU and Tennessee also managed to pull one out of the state.
