Gators prospects to visit Knoxville

Despite the fact that the Florida Gators will once again be on the road this week, the program will still have ample opportunity to impress many of their top targets for the Class of 2013 and 2014.

While the game is obviously going to be in Knoxville, to the prospects in question that really doesn’t matter as they will get to see both Florida and Tennessee on the field.

Here are a few prospects that will be in attendance.

For the 2013 Class:

Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek receiver Marquez North – North has yet to see Florida play live so this is a big chance for the Gators to showcase their new offense to the highly touted wide receiver.

Nashville (Tn.) Brentwood Academy cornerback Jalen Ramsey – The USC commitment will see Florida two weeks in a row, as he has planned to take an official visit to Gainesville next week.

Nashville (Tn.) Brentwood Academy quarterback Max Staver – This is the first chance for the 6-foot-5, 235 pound Florida commitment to see the Gators play in person this year.

For the 2014 Class:

Norcross (Ga.) Norcross High athlete Myles Autry – Florida could be the next to offer Autry a scholarship and he reportedly has a lot of interest in the Gators.

Nashville (Tn.) Independence safety Rashaan Gaulden – The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Gaulden doesn’t have an offer from Florida yet but that could change once the Gators’ coaching staff watches him play.

Atlanta (Ga.) St. Pius X School cornerback Nick Glass – Glass is a Georgia commitment but has shown an off-and-on interest in Florida thus far.

Davidson (N.C.) Davidson Day quarterback Will Grier – The 6-foot-3, 171-pound quarterback will finally get to see Florida play in person. Grier is one of two quarterbacks with a Florida offer.

Knoxville (Tn.) Webb School of Knoxville defensive back Todd Kelly – Kelly is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound safety with a Florida offer and offers from just about everyone else, including Alabama and Florida State.

Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek receiver Demarre Kitt – Kitt is a Georgia commitment but has shown interest in Florida and even showed up in Gainesville for Friday Night Lights.

Gallatin (Tn.) Station Camp receiver Josh Malone – The 6-foot-3, 186-pound Malone doesn’t have a Florida offer yet but one could be coming soon.
