Full 2013 composite recruiting rankings

ESPNU released the first edition of its 150 top prospects in the 2013 football recruiting class on Tuesday afternoon, the fourth major service to do so. With the ESPNU 150 in hand, GatorCountry.com has completed its first full 2013 composite recruiting ranking.

All four major services’ rankings are included in this update, which is the most comprehensive to date. Today we look at the changes to our composite ranking with the addition of the ESPNU 150 and updates to the Scout 300 and 247Sports Top 247.

Florida now boasts 12 commitments in the composite ranking, with 10 of them being ranked in this update. Running back Adam Lane and offensive lineman Cameron Dillard fell to the “Not Ranked” category after being on the ESPNU Watch List but failing to make it into the ESPNU 150.

Those 12 commitments put Florida second nationally behind only Michigan (16) and tied with Texas (12).

The Gators have the most commitments in the SEC in the composite ranking, followed by Alabama (11), Texas A&M (11), Georgia (7), Auburn (5), LSU (5), Missouri (3), Tennessee (3), Vanderbilt (2), Ole Miss (1) and South Carolina (1).

Florida State has five commitments in the composite ranking, while Miami has four.

Meanwhile, of Florida’s 12 commitments in the composite ranking, three currently rank in the GC Composite 100. That’s good enough for fifth nationally, with only Michigan (6), Alabama (5), Penn State (4) and USC (4) having more commitments ranked in the GC Composite 100.

Georgia and Auburn are the only other SEC teams with multiple commitments ranked in the GC Composite 100, with three and two, respectively.

Florida’s commitments are ranked as follows, with movement from the previous ranking in parentheses.
