DELAND — Sanford’s Seminoles took down the DeLand Bulldogs, 21-6, in what is known as the “Battle of the Bridge,” named for the I-4 bridge that separates Seminole Country from Volusia County. There were a number of top prospects on the field Friday night in which a number of big-time performances were turned in. If this game was any indication, Sanford has a chance to go deep into the playoffs this year and DeLand has a bright future ahead after finishing 0-10 just a year ago.
