6’7 CJ Walker from OCP is one of the top talents in the 2019 class. He is a tremendous athlete who has a high motor and is very versatile. His stock is soaring this spring with offers and interest from programs all over the country. GatorCountry.com caught up with Walker to discuss his recent unofficial to Florida.

The Florida coaching staff has made a strong impression on Walker and the visit was a great opportunity to get to know the staff more.

“It was great visit,” Walker said. “UF is heading to an elite status and coaching staff are so down to earth. I was able to connect with the staff on a personal basis they showed me around the campus and facilities. The staff was up front with me as being a priority.”

The facilities really caught the eye of Walker. The health and wellness equipment left Walker very impressed.

“The facilities were first class they have a machine where it tests your blood and your fat. They are the only college that uses it. They have very impressive facilities.”

INSIDERS TAKE: Walker’s stock has been soaring this spring. He has received 5 offers in the month of June with 3 of them happening since June 15th. Florida has made a strong impression early on. Walker will be an important target for the 2019 recruiting class.
