Preview

The Florida Gators will face the No.11 Gonzaga Bulldogs in the second round of the 2016 AdvoCare Invitational in Orlando. The Gators were able to cruise past Seton Hall on Thanksgiving to give them a shot at one of the best scoring teams in college basketball, Gonzaga.

The Bulldogs enter the game ranked 11th in the country and averaging 90 points per game. Center, Pzemek Karnowski is a major part of the Gonzaga offense averaging 14.7 points per game in the young 2016 season. The seven footer is accompanied with good shooting and guard paly as Nigel Williams-Goss and Josh Perkins hold down the backcourt for the Bulldogs.

The Gators enter the game looking to stay perfect on the year. To do that, they will have to lean on Canyon Barry who has provided a much needed offensive spark for the Gators off the bench averaging 13.3 points per game and had 20 points on Thursday night against Seton Hall.

The Gators and the Bulldogs will face off for the first time in nearly 18 years. The two last met in 1999 in the Sweet Sixteen where the Bulldogs edged the Gators 73-72.
