In an effort to help fans get to know future Gators a little better, Gator Country’s Drew Laing has put together a fun interview with Florida basketball pledge Dillon Graham.
The 6-foot-4, 175-pound sharp shooting guard verbally committed to Florida on Aug. 30, 2011. He attended high school at The First Academy in Orlando, Fla.
Drew Laing: What is your favorite food?
Dillon Graham: It’s called the Colombian Burger at Junior Colombian Burger. It’s one of Orlando’s best burgers.
Drew Laing: What’s your biggest asset in your basketball game?
Dillon Graham: I mean definitely shooting, but I’ve been told I have a really quick first step and I can rise up over people with my length.
Drew Laing: Do you know what your number will be next year?
Dillon Graham: I’ll be No. 12.
Drew Laing: What’s your favorite hobby besides basketball?
Dillon Graham: Probably playing pool. I lose all the time, but my friends are pretty good, too.
Drew Laing: Have you figured out what your majoring in next year?
Dillon Graham: I really don’t. I’m kind of back and forth between sports management and business.
Drew Laing: If you could describe coach [Billy] Donovan in one word, what word would it be?
Dillon Graham: Energetic.
Drew Laing: Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Dillon Graham: No, not really.
Drew Laing: Do you listen to any kind of music to get you pumped up?
Dillon Graham: Rap music. My favorite rapper is probably Meek Mill.
Drew Laing: Who is your celebrity crush?
Dillon Graham: I would probably say Carrie Underwood. She is hot.
Drew Laing: Favorite NBA player?
Dillon Graham: J.J. Redick. He’s not really that athletic, but he’s put in so much work.
Drew Laing: Summer plans?
Dillon Graham: I go up to [Florida] in a month. I’m supposed to be up there June 26, so I’m just working out and shooting everyday.
Drew Laing: Were you a Gator fan growing up?
Dillon Graham: Of course. I grew up a Gator fan.
Drew Laing: Favorite Florida Gators moment?
Dillon Graham: I went to a Florida-South Carolina football game and … [Florida] ended up blocking a field goal to win the game.
