Preview

Florida opened conference play strong last week with an 81-72 victory over Arkansas. The Gators look to keep the momentum going in the first SEC game to ever be played in the new Exactech Arena.

Ole Miss comes in looking for redemption after an ugly 99-76 showing at home against Kentucky to start SEC play. Before that loss, the Rebels were riding a three-game winning streak.

Four different players average double-digits for Ole Miss. The Rebels are led by Deandre Burnett, who averages 19.2 points per game. He also leads the team with 29 three-pointers on the year. Sebastian Saiz averages a double-double with 15.8 points and 12.2 boards per game. Terrence Davis (12.3) and Cullen Neal (11.3) are also double-digit scorers.

Marcanvis Hymon and Justas Furmanavicius are the defensive leaders, each with 22 blocked shots this season. Ole Miss leads the SEC in rebounding margin and free-throws made.

Mike White has yet to lose to his alma mater, as he led the Gators to 2-0 record against the Rebels last year. Florida holds a 64-45 all-time record in this matchup.

Last season, the Gators handed the Rebels their very first loss in the Pavilion at Ole Miss. The Rebels are surely itching to give Florida a taste of its own medicine in Exactech Arena on Tuesday.
