Devoe enjoys his unofficial visit to Florida Gators

Michael Devoe has had a very impressive spring playing in the Nike EYBL circuit. His play has generated a lot of buzz on the recruiting trail and has led to many schools making Devoe a key recruit for their respected programs. The 6’4 point guard took an unofficial visit to USC last weekend and visited the Florida Gators on an unofficial visit on Sunday. GatorCountry.com spoke with Devoe about how his visit to Florida went.

“It went great I loved it,” Devoe referring to his unofficial to Florida. “We saw the entire campus including the arena and practice facility. My mom loved it as well and thinks that it could be a great fit for me. The staff is recruiting me hard and wanting me to come there.”

The facilities really caught the eye of the Oak Ridge point guard. He believes that Florida has done a great job building up the basketball facilities.

“I really loved the facilities. They had everything that you need to be successful and things I would need. It’s a very nice place.”

Devoe left Gainesville very impressed with how the visit went and plans to take an official to Florida in the fall.

“I definitely plan to take an official visit soon in the fall. Florida definitely is in my top list of schools but I’m coming out with the official cut list after this aau season.”

Devoe will finish out his AAU season with Nike South Beach before releasing his cut list of top teams. Along with the Gators teams such as Wake Forest, USC, Georgia Tech, UCF, and UConn are recruiting Devoe hard.
