The University of Florida baseball team learned on Saturday evening that it will begin the 2007 SEC Tournament versus South Carolina. The sixth-seeded Gators (28-28/15-15 SEC) will face the third-seeded Gamecocks (40-16/17-13 SEC) at 1 p.m. CT on Wednesday at Regions Park. Carolina took two of three meetings between the clubs in Gainesville over April 6-8. The Gamecocks captured the opener, 12-2, before the Gators countered with a 9-8 victory in game two. USC rallied for an 8-6 victory in 11 innings to claim the series.
