Road trip week four

Gator Country Road Trip takes a  look at which prospects visited the campuses of SEC schools and those of some of Florida’s biggest rivals the past week.

Week four brought us mostly cupcake games around the SEC except for Florida-Tennessee in Gainesville and Auburn-LSU in Baton Rouge.

First stop on the road trip is Tuscaloosa where Alabama defeated Colorado State, 31-6.

Hoover cornerback Marlon Humphrey headlined the group of visitors that also included several top 2015 prospects and 2014 Ole Miss commit C.J. Hampton.

Next stop is Athens where Georgia beat North Texas, 45-21.

Rashaan Evans was the big name in town and he was joined by top 2015 running back Taj Griffin.

In Baton Rouge, LSU handed Auburn its first defeat, 35-21.

Top running back Leonard Fournette was the big name on campus but was joined by Malachi Dupre and Laurence Jones.

In Starkville, Mississippi State blew out Troy, 62-7.

No major prospects were in attendance for the Bulldogs victory.

The final stop is College Station where Texas A&M knocked off  SMU, 42-13.

Five star defensive back Tony Brown was the big name that was in town for the win.

Stay tuned next week to see where the Gator Country tour bus stops.
