Prospects predict the Florida Gators vs. Tennessee game

The Florida Gators vs. Tennessee Volunteers rivalry is one that is recognized all across the country and with the game on CBS; you can expect most of the college football world to be watching.

The attention of the game will also draw a lot of prospects around the Southeast to watch the game and Gator Country asked the prospects for their prediction on the game.

Gator Country asked over 50 prospects to give their thoughts and prediction on the game and here’s the best of the responses.

 

Florida Gators cornerback commit Marco Wilson (5-10, 160, Plantation, FL. American Heritage)-“Florida will win just like they have for the past 11 years.”

Florida Gators tight end commit Zech Byrd (6-6, 235, Millbrook, AL. Stanhope Elmore)-“My boys going to come out with the dub. Gators.”

Defensive end LaBryan Ray (6-4, 270, Madison, AL. James Clemons) – “Honestly, I’m really not sure about this one. I’m just going to guess that Tennessee by a field goal.”

2018 running back Lorenzo Lingard (6-0, 180, Orange City, FL. University) – Florida wins! Yeahhh.”

Alabama athlete commit Chadarius Townsend (6-0, 190, Tanner, AL. High) – “42-17 Florida wins.”

Linebacker Rahyme Johnson (6-4, 210, Los Angeles, CA. Bishop Mora) – “I got Florida winning.”

Defensive lineman Fred Hansard (6-3, 324, Princeton, NJ. Hun) – “Florida wins 21-7.”

2018 receiver Xavier Williams (6-0, 180, Hollywood, FL. Chaminade-Madonna) – “It’s going to be a good but I think Gators take it 24-17.”

Defensive end Markaviest Bryant (6-4, 226, Cordele, GA. Crisp County) – “I like Tennessee.”

Offensive lineman Cesar Ruiz (6-3, 290, Bradenton, FL. IMG) –“Florida wins 35-34, it’s going to come down to special teams.”

2018 safety Trey Dean (6-2, 180, Hampton, GA. Dutchtown)- “Florida is going to win by two touchdowns.”

2018 offensive lineman Christian Armstrong (6-6, 291, Warner Robins, GA. High)- “I honestly believe that it will be a close game but I think it comes down to whoever quarterback does a better job of controlling the game.”

JUCO offensive lineman D’Marcus Hayes (6-6, 320, Mississippi Gulf Coast) –“I think Florida is going to run away with it.”

Florida Gators receiver commit Daquon Green (6-1, 183, Tampa, FL. Tech)- “Another W for the Gators.”

2018 safety Brendan Radley-Hiles (5-10, 175, Calabasas, CA. High) –“Gators defense should eliminate the pass game early and then take care of the run. The offensive will pick up the pace and do damage. Florida wins.”

Auburn athlete commit Tray Bishop (6-3, 183, Dawson, GA. Terrell County)-“If Florida defense plays the way they been playing then hands down Florida wins.”

2018 athlete Amary Burney (6-2, 205, Clearwater, FL. Clearwater Catholic )-“Gators of course, I don’t it’s going to be as close as it was last year. I think the Gators come out the gate and handle business right away.”

Miami defensive back commit C.J. Henderson (6-1, 175, Miami, FL. Columbus)-“Florida.”
