Prospects predict the Florida Gators Season

The Florida Gators football season is fast approaching as the Gators take the field on Saturday night in the Swamp.

Until the Florida Gators take the field, however, people are still throwing out their predictions on how the team will do this year and Gator Country decided to talk to prospects around the country to get their prediction on how well the team will do this year.

Like every analyst and talking head around the country these predictions are all over the place but it’s cool to see how prospects view Florida and Will Muschamp.

2015 Prospects weigh in:

Florida offensive line commit George Brown

They will have a great year. It’s time for them show last year a fluke. #Gator for life.”

Offensive lineman Jalen Merrick:

I think Florida goes 9-3 this year.”

Offensive lineman Emmanuel McGirt

I think they will finish in the top four of the SEC this year.”

Florida offensive line commit Tyler Jordan

I think that they honestly get at least 10 wins with the potential to give Alabama a run for their money this year.”

Florida tight end commit Kalif Jackson

The Gators are going to be SEC champions this year.”

JUCO cornerback Justin Martin

I think they are going to have a season and go 9-3 or better.”

Texas A&M commit Daylon Mack

I think Florida will have a great year! I believe that they are going to be one of the top contenders in their SEC division and I know that they will have a strong defensive showing which is a huge reason to why I’m highly interest in the Gators.”

Defensive end Houshun Gaines

I think they’ll do great man, I have high expectations for them this year. Injuries played a big part in the outcome last year but it won’t this year. I’m fired up for the season and to watch them.”

Offensive lineman Quavarez Boulware

I think this year since they have less injuries that they will do a lot better than last year. Injuries were the only thing that held them back last year.”

Florida offensive line commit Brandon Sandifer

I think they will do very good and surprise a lot of people this year.”

2016 recruits weigh in:

Florida cornerback commit Chauncey Gardner

10 wins and SEC championship. We will also win our bowl game.”

Florida cornerback commit Tre Jackson

I think that we will bounce back strong this year and go 9-3 or 10-2.”

Florida athlete commit Tyler Byrd

Florida has a great team and everyone’s young which means they will grown together and they are well coached. I think Florida will do great things and surprise a lot of people.”

  1. It’s great to hear that some of those big time targets like Daylon Mack and Jalen Merrick still have confidence in our team and that they realize last year happened in large part because of injuries. I hope they’re all right at the end of the year.

    • I agree. Will Muschamp and his staff have done a great job of selling the program to these prospects.
