Notable: Huggins was originally committed to Florida State before leaving the class when Jimbo Fisher left for Texas A&M. Huggins was one of the first offers defensive coordinator Todd Grantham gave out when he arrived at Florida and he made him a priority. Huggins didn’t plan to sign early but after committing signed. Huggins won’t enroll until the summer.

Quotable: “It just felt like a family and they established that with me,” Huggins said on why he committed to Florida. “They told me that I was important to them and they’re important to me. They’re the best fit for me.”

Andrew always knew he wanted to be involved with sports in some capacity. He began by coaching high school football for six years before deciding to pursue a career in journalism. While coaching, he was a part of two state semifinal teams in the state of Alabama. Given his past coaching experience, he figured covering recruiting would be a perfect fit.
