Jachai Polite: Florida Gators Class of 2016 signee

Jachai Polite

School: Mainland

Hometown: Daytona Beach, FL

Height: 6-4

Weight: 235

Position: defensive end

Rivals Ranking: 3-star

Recruited by:  Kerry Dixon

Notable: The Florida Gators haven’t had much success at Mainland High School but Polite changes the Gators bad luck this year. Polite is a big defensive end that had a solid senior and decided to stick with Florida over USC in January. The defensive end is a guy that can play all over the line and could potentially grow into a defensive tackle.

Quotable: “I committed because of my relationship with the coaching staff at Florida,” Polite said. “I just think Florida is the best fit for me. Florida has been recruiting me hard ever since I came down there this summer and that made me decide to go there.”
