Florida Gators: Spivey Senses February 1st

The Florida Gators coaching staff has been working hard trying to wrap up the 2015 recruiting class and finish their first recruiting class out strong as the days wind down to national signing day.

Head coach Jim McElwain and the coaching staff can no longer visit prospects, they are able to call prospects for the next few days but the majority of the work is already now that official visits are over with.

In this edition of Spivey Senses I’m going to get everyone caught up on the latest information regarding prospects that Florida is targeting in this class plus don’t forget on Monday I’ll release my final mock class at noon.

Here are few things that you will learn in this article:

  • Which prospects are announcing on Monday?
  • Will Florida get a quarterback in this class or not?
  • How big is this class going to be after the Gators landed three prospects this weekend.
  • What is the perception of the coaching staff after official visitors have met and talked to him the past few weeks.
  • Plus much more inside this edition of Spivey Senses.

  1. Andrew….can we get an update( anything at all would suffice) on our wide receiver coach or lack there of. Who’s candidates? Who’s interested besides Chad Ochocinco (would love him but he doesn’t have a degree from Oregon state or anywhere else I know of to be able to coach) ? Like I said any news would help a lot of us out.

    • I honestly don’t know anything new to report except that Florida has its guy or at least that is what Mac is telling kids.
