Florida Gators Recruiting: Visitor list for Eastern Michigan

The Florida Gators didn’t have the opportunity to show off the team last Saturday due to bad weather but this Saturday the Gators hope for different weather and some football.

When the Gators do take the field on Saturday afternoon to take on Eastern Michigan they will be doing that in front of several top-notch prospects who will be in the end zone observing the 2014 football team.

Including in the list of prospects visiting Florida on Saturday will be two prospects that committed to other schools including one that is committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Flipper looking to Flip

Miami running back commit Dexter Williams (5-11, 165, Orlando, FL West Orange) and 2016 Alabama athlete commit Demetris Robertson (6-0, 167, Savannah, GA Savannah Christian School) headline the expected visitors as Will Muschamp will look to flip these two prospects to Florida.

Williams is making his first trip to Florida since Friday Night Lights and while he continues saying he’s solid to Miami he’s still taking visits elsewhere.

Florida was one of the first schools to offer Robertson but this is his first visit to Florida since last February so this will be the Florida Gators’ first chance to show off the program in over 6 months.

Five Stars returning again

Defensive ends CeCe Jefferson and Byron Cowart will return for the second straight week to Florida. Is this surprise? Not really, the two basically live in Gainesville when they are not at home. The good news is that Cowart continues to visit Florida as his decision date nears. The more times Florida gets Cowart on campus the less opportunities he has to visits elsewhere.

Davis loving Gainesville

Receiver Ryan Davis (5-10, 161, St. Petersburg, FL Lakewood) has become a frequent visitor to Florida and despite him being undecided he continues to say that he and his father love Florida and Gainesville. Davis told Gator Country that he wanted to see Florida’s offense in person so that was why he was returning to Gainesville so soon. Davis is someone to keep a close eye on no doubt.

Commits coming to recruit

Florida commits Tyler Jordan, Kalif Jackson and Andrew Ivie will be in town for this weekend’s game and these guys will be the recruiters during the game. Jordan has done an extremely good job of recruiting other prospects.
