Florida Gators recruiting reaction to win over Tennessee

It was a wild game for the Florida Gators but they came out on top after Feleipe Franks hits Tyrie Cleveland on a post route to win the game in front of many recruits in the south endzone.

Not only were the recruits in attendance watching but many of the Gators targets and commits were watching at home to.

GatorCountry.com asked the Gators top targets and commits to give us their reaction on Florida’s huge win at home in the Swamp to start conference play 1-0.

 

Offensive line commit Curtis Dunlap-“Amazing, they fought and made a way. I’m excited and blessed to call myself a Gator!!.”

Offensive line Trey Hill: “That was great. On that last catch, the crowd went wild and the stadium was moving. Everything was pretty loud.”

2019 Gators commit Marcus Tillman: “That was one of the best games ever, it was unbelievable how it ended. I thought it was going to go into overtime but they pulled it off at the end. Best atmosphere I’ve been part of.

Defensive back Pat Surtain Jr: “It was great, the game was crazy, the atmosphere was crazy,”

Linebacker commit David Reese: “Only the beginning.”

Tight end commit Kyle Pitts: “I felt it coming. Tyrie [Cleveland] is a game changer and he came in the clutch today.”

Defensive line target Coynis Miller-“They never panicked, they just played ball. Great win.”

Tennessee JUCO defensive tackle target Dorian Gerald-“All I can say is wow.”

Defensive back commit Randy Russell-“That was legendary. One of those plays you’ll see for the next 20 years.”

Athlete commit Amari Burney-“It was amazing. When I see them line up, I told my parents, they going to Tyrie and they did and he came up big time.”

2019 offensive line target Andrew Coker-“It was a great defensive game in the beginning and an electric finish.”

Defensive back commit Divaad Wilson-“It was fire, big time playmakers make big plays in big time games.”

Linebacker Richard Jibunor-“That a wow. Wow and unbelievable.”

Auburn safety commit Jamien Sherwood-“I was amazed and shocked that it happened. How I was also mad that I didn’t get it recorded.”

2019 safety commit Jaleel McRae-“Get on before it’s to late.”

2019 defensive back target Brendan Gant-“It was crazy and amazing. Definitely an atmosphere anybody would want to be in.”

2019 defensive back Kaiir Elam-“It was wild, still trying to process that win. It was the craziest since I been here when I was smaller.”

2019 linebacker Ge’Mon Eaford-“Wow, I’m speechless. Go Gators.”
