Florida Gators recruiting reaction for SEC East Championship

Saturday was a monster win for the Gators football and also for the Florida Gators recruiting efforts as prospects around the country took notice of the way Florida won on Saturday.

Gator Country asked prospects on the Florida Gators recruiting board to give us their take on Florida winning the game and getting back to Atlanta.

Here’s the recruit reaction

Florida Gators running back commit Malik Davis-“I think that was definitely a big time win. We made a statement by getting back to the SEC Championship game. Jordan Scarlett is a really good back.”

Defensive end target LeBryan Ray-“I didn’t get to see a lot of the game but I saw that Florida made the plays that they needed to and had a great goal line stand to win. I know that’s a big win because they get to play in the SEC Championship game.”

2018 quarterback target Artur Sitkowski-“I think it’s a huge win and I’m excited for the SEC Championship game.”

2018 tight end target Judge Culpepper-“That was a huge win for them, they stepped up to the challenge and proved that they still got that juice. It was just a big time win.”

2018 defensive back target Brendan Radley-Hiles-“As expected.”

Florida Gators defensive end commit Zach Carter-“I’m proud to be a Gator and it’s amazing that Coach Mac has gone to Atlanta two times in a row. The future is bright.”

Florida Gators defensive back commit Marco Wilson-“Coach Mac is handling business and I hope to be in Atlanta next year also.”

2018 tight end target Jarrett Jackson-“It was a great win, they fought hard and they got what they deserved.”

Florida Gators defensive back commit Shawn Davis-“ Beat LSU, that D came through when it was time.”

Florida Gators defensive tackle commit Fred Hansard-“I told y’all not to sleep on my boys.”

Louisville quarterback commit Malik Cunningham-“It was a good win and the offense picked it up a little from last week. The defense came through.
