Florida Gators Football: Gators Rout EKU, 52-3

After a week that has been a hard on the entire program, the Florida Gators (6-4, 4-4 SEC) got back to the field Saturday, emotions running high on Senior Day. The Gators would send the seniors out with a win in their final game at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, routing the Eastern Kentucky Colonels (9-3, 6-2 OVC) 52-3. The Gators posted the second-highest amount of points under Will Muschamp and become bowl eligible with the win.

Jeff Driskel saw significant minutes in the second half after Treon Harris left with a knee injury. Driskel went 9-11 with 164 yards and a touchdown pass. Driskel also had a touchdown run in the game.

  1. Adam Lane needs to be used a lot more. Good game. They should put him in against FSU. If Jones gets tackled behind the line, or only gets a yard or two-toss that kid in…he’s a baller. Running just might work in tally…GO GATORS!
