It was a tale of two different teams coming into this game. The Florida Gators (4-3, 3-3 SEC) entered Jacksonville looking to finally get things going in the right direction following a blowout loss to Missouri on homecoming October 18. Georgia (6-2, 4-2 SEC) came into the game ranked ninth and still without junior Todd Gurley, who will miss two more games due to an NCAA violation. Nick Chubb had played well in Gurley’s absence, and Georgia’s ability to stop the Bulldog’s running game was a point of interest.
The Gators would not only slow Georgia’s rushing attack, they would control the game offensively, running for 424 yards in a 38-13 win.

Don’t get me wrong it’s always great beating Georgia..But, it’s sad when the head coach takes 2 yrs to realize Kelvin Taylor needs at least 20 touches/game. Sad when the players play their hardest when the head coach is about to get fired..The most disappointing thing is watching Foley celebrating like we just won the national title..But, we are 4-3 with practically NO SHOT at SEC east..Our program should never be satisfied with JUST beating Georgia. Or JUST going 4-3. Or going 4-8 last year and LOWERING our expectations by thinking 7-4 or 6-5 this year is any kind of success. Muschamp has been and ALWAYS will be a .500 type coach due to his controlling of the offense, average to poor recruiting, not taking ANY risks (until today with his job on the line), and his defensive minded philosophy on offense.. We should never SETTLE for just winning a big game or two each season and being an AVERAGE football program..Our next coach needs to be an offensive minded head coach with head coaching experience and win consistently..

What a difference a fortnight brings. As poorly as we played against Mizzou , the beat down we put on Georgia is all the sweeter. Kudos to the offensive line for giving Kelvin and Matt plenty of room to run. The change at QB seemed to inspire confidence in everyone including the fans.
