Randle has ‘serious interest’ in Florida

Florida basketball coach Billy Donovan and assistant John Pelphrey were in attendance Saturday afternoon at the AAU Super Showcase to watch 2013 forward Julius Randle of Prestonwood Christian in Plano, Texas.

Randle, who was coached by Donovan on the U18 USA team, said he really enjoyed his time with Donovan during his stint with the national team.

“I love playing with coach Donovan,” Randle said. “He pushed me and helped me be the best player I can be. He taught me a lot of little things that I can take from my game and develop when I get home.”
