Gators recruiting PG prospect Joel Berry

Orlando Lake Highland Prep point guard Joel Berry was focused on one thing this season: reaching the state championship. The Class of 2014 prospect is only a game away from accomplishing his goal as his team battles Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby in the state semifinals on Thursday.

“Our team is playing great,” Berry said. “We came into the season with our goals set high and we’re achieving them so far.”

In addition to his team’s success, Berry has been pleased with his individual performance on the court as well.
