ShareFlorida close to offering Phil Booth
Earlier this month, Florida Gators assistant coach Rashon Burno traveled to Maryland to watch Class of 2014 shooting guard Phil Booth (Mount St. Joseph’s/Baltimore, Md.).
Although Booth doesn’t officially have a scholarship offer from the Gators, the 6-foot-2, 170-pounder has garnered significant interest from Florida.
“Florida has been in contact with me,” Booth said. “They said once I get on the phone with [UF coach Billy Donovan] he will offer me a scholarship.”
