ShareFinney-Smith to transfer to Florida
The Florida Gators' basketball program received big news Thursday. Virginia Tech power forward Dorian Finney-Smith has decided to transfer to Florida, according to a tweet by ESPN basketball recruiting analyst Dave Telep.
Per Telep's Twitter post: "Dorian Finney-Smith, per a little birdie, is a Gator. Florida killed it on the transfer market this offseason."
The second part of Telep's tweet eludes to the fact that Florida landed South Carolina transfer Damontre Harris on May 26.
While Telep's birdie says Finney-Smith "is a Gator," a source close to the situation told GatorCountry.com it's not quite a done deal, but that it's "very, very close" to happening.
