ShareAlex Owens draws Florida’s interest
Switching schools can be tough for high schoolers, but the transition to Oldsmar Christian for Alex Owens has been a smooth one so far.
“Everything is going well so far, grades-wise and with basketball,” Owens said. “We are currently 10-5 on the season."
The Class of 2015 power forward has also been making strides on the basketball court this season, which has drawn the interest of the Florida Gators. Owens, who stands at 6-foot-8, 190-pounds, was recently in contact for the first time with Florida assistant coach Matt McCall.
