Vanderbilt surged ahead to an early lead against the Florida women's basketball team, then the Gators rallied back but fell short 66-56. Gator Country was there to provide this exclusive photo gallery from all of the action on Thursday night at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center!

First-year coach Amanda Butler’s team fell to 14-7 overall and 3-3 in the SEC in the loss. Marshae Dotson led the Gators with 16 points while Depree Bowden had a team-best eight rebounds.

Florida shot 2-for-18 from 3-point range and 14-of-25 from the free throw line, leaving a lot of room for improvement. The good news is that the Gators have a chance at redemption when they host the LSU Tigers on Sunday at noon!
