ShareWizards draft Brad Beal 3rd overall
Brad Beal became the second Florida player in the Billy Donovan era taken third overall in the NBA Draft when the Washington Wizards drafted Beal with the No. 3 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
Al Horford is the last Florida player drafted that high, going to the Atlanta Hawks with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. Neal Walk is the only Florida player drafted higher, going No. 2 overall to the Phoenix Suns in 1969.
In a live interview on ESPN, Beal said his decision to leave school after his freshman season wasn't easy.
