GAINESVILLE, Fla. — After sinking a three-pointer from the right wing, Terrence Jones made an ‘OK’ gesture with his right hand while backpedaling down the court. With three fingers extended, the Kentucky sophomore put his hand over his right eye, looking through the ‘O’ circle created by his pointer finger and thumb.

Jones’ final shot and ensuing three-point signal all but sealed top-ranked Kentucky’s 74-59 victory against Florida in front of 12,113 fans in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Wildcats (30-1 overall, 16-0 in Southeastern Conference play) were way better than OK in the regular season finale for both teams. Jones finished with 19 points on 9 of 13 shooting while freshman forward Anthony Davis was even more dominant than usual with 22 points, 12 rebounds and six blocked shots in front of an audience that included at least a dozen NBA scouts. Davis is expected to be the first player taken in the draft.
