ShareUF hopes to avoid ‘hangover’
Entering their game against Jacksonville last season, the Florida Gators had just beaten a Kansas State team that was ranked No. 6 in the country. Two weeks prior, they had traveled to Florida State and handled an early road test, beating the Seminoles. These early wins played a large role in the overall success of the team, as the Gators proved early in the season, both to themselves and to the rest of the NCAA, they had the capability to beat any team. This sudden success also left them susceptible to slip-ups against lesser opponents.
