Time on bench humbled Calathes

Nick Calathes found himself in a most unfamiliar position last Friday night. He was sitting on the bench between assistant coaches Larry Shyatt and Rob Lanier for a protracted period of time in the first half, watching his Florida teammates fall farther behind Florida State. He's been on the bench before because of foul trouble or illness, but never because he played so poorly that the coach benched him for awhile.
