As music blasted away in the background at the NBA Draft party that was in high gear in his home town of St. Petersburg, Marreese Speights thanked Billy Donovan, Larry Shyatt, Rob Lanier, Donnie Jones, Lewis Preston, the entire Gator Nation and at least three times said he loves everybody in Gainesville. He was on an emotional high, the kind you get when your life changes completely with a single phone call. Then, just like that, Marreese Speights suddenly got serious.
