Despite Florida’s heartbreaking defeat to Kentucky on Saturday, the Gators are still the number one seed heading into the SEC tournament that starts this week in Nashville, Tennessee.

With Florida being the one seed, they will receive byes for the first two rounds along with Kentucky, Ole Miss and Alabama who rounded out the top 4 seeds respectively.

Florida will open play on Friday at 1:00 P.M. on ESPNU against the winner of the Georgia/LSU game that will take place on Thursday.

Alabama is the 4 seed and will take on the winner of Tennessee’s game, as the Volunteers will take on the winner of South Carolina and Mississippi State.
