SharePrather may miss UF’s season opener
Florida Gators forward Casey Prather has suffered his second concussion in nine days and likely will miss Friday’s season opener.
No. 10 Florida plays Georgetown in the Navy/Marine Corps Classic, which tips-off at 9 p.m. aboard the USS Bataan at the Mayport Naval Base in Jacksonville.
Prather’s first concussion caused him to miss Thursday’s 101-71 exhibition win against Nebraska-Kearney. He took an elbow to the back of his head during Monday’s practice, resulting in his second concussion.
