The No. 11 Florida men's basketball team (9-2) made easy work of a vastly overmatched Mississippi Valley State team (1-9) during Monday's 82-54 win in front of 8,025 fans at the O'Connell Center. Florida senior guard Erving Walker led all scorers with 19 points. UF sophomore Patric Young scored 12 points and pulled down eight rebounds, while junior Erik Murphy added 11 points and eight rebounds. The Gators shot 48.1% from the field, including 10-of-21 from beyond the arc while holding the Delta Devils to 30.8% shooting from the field.
