SharePatric Young fighting through the pain for Florida
Florida began its last three games without starting sophomore center Patric Young on the floor, but the chiseled 6-foot-9, 247-pound giant hasn’t failed to make an impact yet during a four-game winning streak.
In fact, Young’s coming off one of his most productive outings of the year after racking up 15 points on 7-10 shooting in a come-from-behind win over Ole Miss on Thursday.
“I haven’t seen any carryover or affect from the ankle after we held him out during our bye week,” coach Billy Donovan said. “This whole week of practice, he’s (been) in every second. He wasn’t complaining about it.”
