NIT: Gators host San Diego State
It’s not the NCAA Tournament but the National Invitation Tournament is a chance to play as many as five more games, which means more experience and perhaps momentum that can carry over into next season. The Florida Gators need to be over the shock of missing out on their first NCAA in 10 years Wednesday night and get off to a good start in the NIT by disposing of first round opponent San Diego State (9 p.m., Stephen C. O’Connell Center, ESPN2).
