Media picks Florida to finish second

The media has picked the Florida Gators basketball team to finish second in the SEC this season.

Defensive SEC and national champion Kentucky was picked to repeat as champs. The Wildcats went 38-2 last season and were 16-0 in conference play.

Florida also placed a pair of players on preseason All-SEC teams. Senior shooting guard Kenny Boynton was named to the first team while junior center Patric Young made the second team.
