It was Monday morning so this couldn’t have been the pre-game speech and besides, Billy Donovan was talking to the working press, not his Florida Gators, who will take on Brigham Young in the first round of the West Regional at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City Thursday at 12:20 (EDT). Donovan was animated and passionate as he spoke, leaving very little doubt that he is taking this return to the NCAA Tournament very personally even if he was sincere when he said this “isn’t about me” but about the kids he coaches.
