Jonathan Mitchell re-invents himself

Playing for Mount Vernon High School, one of the nation’s most storied prep basketball programs, Jonathan Mitchell was a go-to guy, a scorer that had a knack of getting tough points when his team needed them the most. When he finished his high school career, he was Mr. Basketball in New York and he had surpassed Ben Gordon, the former UConn All-American who plays for the Chicago Bulls, as the school’s all-time leading scorer.
